Advanced “Circumcision” Surgery

Second-generation Disposable Circumcision Suture Device (DCSD)

Traditional circumcision surgery requires more than 30 minutes as it involves circular excision of the foreskin, making it prone to bleeding. The wound needs meticulous stitching (usually more than 12 stitches), causing long surgery time and potential discomfort. Moreover, the stitches may not always result in a perfectly smooth appearance, affecting aesthetics and discouraging many men seeking to address foreskin issues.

The new generation circumcision device not only removes excess foreskin but also simultaneously stops bleeding and stitches using staples. It requires less anesthesia, resulting in cleaner incisions with reduced postoperative swelling and bruising. Pain levels are lower after surgery, and recovery is faster.

Have you experienced any of the following situations?

1. Inflamed and swollen foreskin, occurring more than once a year, or having been severe enough to produce pus.
2. The urethral opening is too small, affecting urination. Some children have severe phimosis, and when urinating, the foreskin may inflate like a balloon, with the entire foreskin swelling at the front end before urine sprays out. In such cases, circumcision is necessary.
3. If the foreskin is too long, it’s difficult to keep clean, leading to a buildup of smegma (parents might notice white hard lumps inside the child’s foreskin, which could be smegma).
4. There have been cases of “getting stuck”, known as paraphimosis. Simply put, when the foreskin retracts, it cannot be pushed back, often requiring treatment in the emergency room.

FAQ

Q: What are the benefits of using a circumcision gun?
A: The second-generation DCSD comes with different sizes of staplers, suitable for both children and adults.

Compared to traditional surgery, it significantly reduces surgery time, with simultaneous suturing resulting in neater wounds and less bleeding. The probability of complications such as swelling and hematoma after surgery is also lower compared to traditional methods, thus greatly reducing patients’ pain.

Q: What should I pay attention to before surgery?

A: Please inform the doctor proactively before surgery if you have the following conditions:
1. tendency for blood clotting disorders.
2. tendency for hypertrophic scarring.
3. allergies to medications.

5. history of previous surgeries.

Q: What are the possible conditions after surgery?

A:
1. In the first few days after surgery, there may be swelling of the foreskin, which will gradually subside within about 2 weeks.
2. If there is pain, minor bleeding, or swelling of the wound after erection of the penis following surgery, simply apply local cold compresses with pressure. In case of severe bleeding, a follow-up examination should be scheduled. Cold compress precautions: apply for 10-15 minutes each time, with intervals of at least 30 minutes between applications.
